Hiwin Launches New UR Roller Guides With Improved Precision and Load Capacity
Additional features include wide, modular catalogue of different sizes, longer service life, and 360 degrees lubrication.

The UR series of roller guides are being positioned as a direct upgrade over Hiwin’s existing models in the same field.
Following its debut at EMO 2025, Hiwin has officially launched sales of their new UR roller guide. The UR series is an upgrade of Hiwin’s existing RG series and has been developed for applications where every detail counts: from tool and special-purpose machine construction, through automated production lines, to precision guidance units for large components or solutions for heavy load handling.
The UR roller guide features optimized rolling element geometry designed to ensure maximum load ratings and rigidity, as well as consistent running behavior. Hiwin touted a 34% higher static load capacity, up to 19% higher dynamic load capacity and up to 70% longer service life. Their goal is higher machining performance, dimensional accuracy and better surface finish — even under high loads.
Hiwin’s personally designed 360 degrees lubricant distribution system is meant to ensure that every single rolling element is optimally lubricated, even in wall-mounted applications with oil lubrication. This increases process reliability, reduces lubricant consumption and ensures stable, long-lasting operation even under extreme operating conditions.
The UR roller guides come with a few additional features. Dirt-resistant sealing systems provide additional protection for the roller guide. Integrated position measurement systems open up further automation possibilities. Finally, a wide catalogue of sizes, designs and carriage lengths offer a high level of adaptability and flexibility. Whether as a flange block or as a flat or high square block, in heavy load or super heavy load types, the UR series can be precisely tailored to each application’s respective requirements.
