Maxolution’s new Mobile Robot Platform 1600 is designed for easy integration, scalability, and reduced downtime.

Maxolution, an SEW-Eurodrive Company, has introduced the Mobile Robot Platform 1600 (MR P1600), a standardized, modular mobile robot platform designed to move heavy loads, such as pallets, through factories and warehouses, with less manual handling and more consistent material flow.

Two challenges often limit mobile vehicle performance: downtime during charging and integration complexity. The MR P1600 addresses both with a standardized platform that simplifies integration and scalability.

The MR P1600 can be configured for contactless, inductive charging usingMovitrans spot or Movitrans line solutions, reducing long charging breaks and keeping vehicles available to move material.

Maxolution has also designed the MR P1600 for faster integration of existing material flow, lowered project risk, and accelerated time to deployment. As a standardized platform with modular load-handling options, MR P1600 is built for scalable expansion, so operations can begin with a small fleet and expand without switching systems.

“Operations choose automation that delivers reliable material flow and scales easily,” Caleb Boles, sales engineer at Maxolution, said. “MR P1600 combines a standardized platform with contactless charging to keep vehicles moving, simplify integration, and support scalable expansion as needs change.”

Designed for Pallet Transport and Scalable Intralogistics

MR P1600 is engineered for logistics and assembly environments where pallet movement and material supply must be reliable shift after shift. The platform supports configurable load-handling options, including conveyor transfer, lift, drive-under, and precise docking, using standardized material transfer attachments or custom-engineered load handling.

Performance features include:

  • Payload capacity and speed: up to 1600 kg load capacity, speeds up to 1.6 m/s, and ±7% grade.
  • Repeatable transfers: precise positioning up to ±4 mm supports consistent docking and conveyor handoffs.
  • Controls and safety integration: interface options including 360 V + 24 V, EtherCAT, FSoE, and Safe I/Os for integration into modern automation standards.
  • Fleet connectivity: WLAN communications and VDA 5050 support for fleet manager interoperability.
  • Energy options: configurable energy storage and inductive power transfer capability with Movitrans (up to 11 kW).

Built on SEW-Eurodrive control technology and a standardized platform, the MR P1600 reduces deployment risk and simplifies maintenance. With Maxolution’s system and application expertise, it delivers proven integration support, along with the tools and training needed to deploy confidently and scale efficiently as needs grow.
