Autoimate 2026 takes place June 22-25 at Chicago's McCormick Place.
Our editorial team has a full slate of appointments scheduled for four fun-filled days at Chicago’s McCormick Place for Automate 2026, which takes place June 22-25. Here’s just a sampling of what we’re going to see in the South Hall, and what we hope to learn…
Emergent Vision Technologies – Booth 977
Emergent Vision Technologies makes high-speed industrial camera systems that losslessly capture information at extremely high frame rates and resolutions. The company says they were the first to introduce 10, 25, 50 and 100GigE area scan and line scan cameras, and they also say they have the world’s fastest 8K line-scan camera. https://www.emergentvisiontec.com/
Güdel – Booth 1806
Güdel is a global manufacturer of linear motion systems and gantry robots engineered for high-performance automation in demanding industrial environments. They specialize in moving, positioning, and handling large, heavy, or complex workpieces with precision, repeatability, and long-term reliability. We’re looking forward to the demonstration of the automated grinding robot developed by Titan Robotics using Güdel’s linear slides for grinding the weldments in large fabricated parts. https://www.gudel.com/
Inbolt – Booth 1675
Inbolt’s platform connects what a robot sees to how it moves, so factories no longer need the rigid fixtures, constant retuning, and custom integration that have made automation slow and expensive. Combining robot programming, vision model and robot control, Inbolt’s system can be set up from a digital twin in minutes and works natively with FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, Comau, and Universal Robots. https://www.inbolt.com/
Metaphase Lighting Technologies – Booth 125
Metaphase Lighting Technologies is a designer and manufacturer of machine vision LED lighting. At Automate 2026, we’ll be sure to ask them about their new Zeto controller platform. Modern inspection environments frequently require a mix of lights — with some featuring built-in internal drivers and others requiring external current control. Integrating these systems has required disparate control systems, messy wiring, and complex software programming. The Zeto Controller Family addresses this industry challenge through its modular, bus-connected architecture. https://www.metaphase-tech.com/
Musashi AI North America – Booth 3837
Musashi AI is a growing hardware- and software-focused company that builds and develops smart vision solutions for quality assurance in manufacturing environments. Their AI-powered visual inspection system is being used to detect defects down to 50 microns in high-volume operations like automotive gear and shaft manufacturing. https://musashiai.com/
Omron Automation – Booth 3080
We’re interested to see the latest improvements to Omron’s line of AMRs, to better understand how the company is building more compact, higher payload mobile robots; how their increasing speed and improving the wireless charging process; how their AMRs are helping navigate event the most challenging environments; and how they’re improving the safety of their robots to allow for operation in large fleets and alongside human workers. https://robotics.omron.com
PBC Linear – Booth 1269
PBC Linear’s range of linear motion products includes bearings, shafting, rail assemblies, cam roller sliders, lead screws, ball screws, actuators, cartesian robots and multi-axis mechatronics assemblies. https://pbclinear.com/
Rockwell Automation – Booth 2267
With the experts at Rockwell Automation, we’re going to dig deeper into Rockwell’s latest State of Smart Manufacturing report, which found that “industrial and connected technologies have become core investments toward continuous, execution-focused transformation.” We’ll also take some time to learn more about the company’s new FactoryTalk Orchestration, a new software solution central to Rockwell’s broader production logistics strategy and designed to coordinate end-to-end material flow across the factory floor. https://www.rockwellautomation.com/
Sensory Robotics – Booth 3840
Sensory Robotics develops industrial safety systems that allow people and robots to work together in the same space without traditional fencing. Their technology combines 3D sensing, safety logic, and software to help manufacturers deploy safer, more flexible automation in robot cells, mobile platforms, and complex production environments. https://www.sensoryrobotics.com/
Siemens – Booth 1214
Highlights at this year’s Siemens booth will include the SIMATIC Pick AI, which handles randomized bin picking in under 0.3 seconds; the Eigen Engineering Agent, a generative AI copilot that accelerates PLC code generation and HMI creation; Inspekto PORTEX, a software-defined quality inspection platform that validates AI recommendations against simulation; and Senseye Predictive Maintenance and the Industrial Edge platform, which show how real-time data from the shop floor feeds smarter operational decisions across the enterprise. https://usa.siemens.com
Smart Vision Lights – Booth 1821
Smart Vision Lights is a designer and manufacturer of LED lighting solutions for machine vision and automation camera applications. Their DoAll multifunctional light comes with six different machine vision lights and is well suited for robotic applications. The company also has a full line of lighting systems for logistics operations. https://smartvisionlights.com/
Universal Robots/MiR – Booth 1250
Universal Robots delivers collaborative robots engineered for industrial‑grade performance—offering payloads up to 35 kg and reach up to 1750 mm in industries including electronics, metal fabrication, logistics and education. Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) provides AMRs for logistics and manufacturing operations. https://www.universal-robots.com and https://mobile-industrial-robots.com/
